Adjunct Surgical Technology Instructor
About The Position
Oakland Community College (OCC) is seeking Adjunct Faculty Instructors for Surgical Technology courses. OCC is a student-centered community college in Oakland County, Michigan, dedicated to providing quality learning opportunities. As one of the largest community colleges in Michigan, OCC serves over 12,000 students across multiple campuses. Adjunct Faculty are expected to utilize modern technology in the classroom. Applications are accepted continuously for an as-needed hiring basis throughout the academic year, dependent on enrollment. Candidates not residing in Michigan will be Edustaff employees, with employment offers, salary, and benefits provided by Edustaff. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Surgical Technology or related field and one (1) year’s experience OR Associate degree in Surgical Technology or related field and three (3) years’ experience
- Credentialed in good standing by the National Board of Surgical Technologists and Surgical Assistants (NBSTSA)
- Commitment to using modern technology in the classroom.

Responsibilities
- Teach anticipated day and/or evening Surgical Technology courses, ranging from basic to advanced skill levels.
- Maintain and/or provide licensure and certifications where applicable.
