Requirements

• A passion for teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals.
• Experience in surgical technology or a related healthcare field.
• A commitment to equity, innovation, and student success.
• Diploma of Surgical Technology required
• Minimum of two years of experience as a surgical technologist in the OR required.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
• Prior teaching or precepting experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach hands-on, career-focused courses in Surgical Technology.
• Share your knowledge in a way that's engaging, supportive, and easy to understand.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and emplowered.
• Use real-world examples and lab simulations to prepare students for entry-level roles.
