About The Position
Wilson Community College is seeking an Adjunct/Part-time Instructor to teach Information Technology courses. This role involves teaching assigned online, day, and/or evening classes, maintaining accurate student records, and communicating effectively with students and supervisors.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related Information Technology field, or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a regionally accredited institution
- Two years of work experience in an Information Technology field
- Experience in Data Analytics
- Experience in Computer Programming Languages including Python or Java
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience teaching in a community college setting
- At least one year of community college teaching experience
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned online, day, and/or evening classes
- Maintain and submit accurate attendance
- Maintain accurate academic records, such as syllabi and grades
- Submit required forms and documents in a timely manner
- Maintain consistent communication with students and supervisor
