About The Position

The Anita and Truman Arnold College of Business occasionally has openings for part-time adjunct instructors appointed on a per semester basis at the RELLIS campus near College Station. Applying for a part-time teaching appointment in business adds applicants to a pool which is available to the business division for selection as needed for Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and/or Summer 2027.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management discipline or related field, including a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching discipline.
  • Degree and coursework must be obtained from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Must have the appropriate initial qualification and appropriate maintenance of qualification for the last six-year period in Supply Chain Management to be qualified per AACSB standard 3 of the new 2026 Global Standards for Business Education.
  • Resume and/or CV
  • Copy of graduate level transcripts.
  • If international it must be credentialed (e.g. by WES)
  • At least two (2) professional references

Nice To Haves

  • Ph D. per undergraduate section taught with a Ph D.
  • Ph D. per graduate level section taught with a PhD.

Responsibilities

  • Required to teach undergraduate course(s) in supply chain management.
  • Required to teach face-to-face course(s) at the RELLIS campus.
  • Courses may be conducted as a 5-week, 8-week, 10-week or 16-week term depending on the semester.
  • Must coordinate course administrative duties such as, but not limited to, grading student work, loading all course content, such as assessments and lecture modules, meeting with students, submitting grades in a timely manner, meeting census and grade deadlines, and additional administrative duties as needed.

Benefits

  • $3,300 per undergraduate section taught with a master’s degree
  • $3,800 per undergraduate section taught with a Ph D.
  • $4,000 per graduate level section taught with a master’s degree
  • $4,500 per graduate level section taught with a PhD.
