The Department of Rehabilitation & Health Services is an interdisciplinary department that houses a Ph.D. in Health Services Research, two Master’s degrees (Rehabilitation Counseling and Health Services Administration), three Bachelor’s degrees (Public Health, Addictions, and Rehabilitation Studies), and several minors and certificates. We focus on preparing interdisciplinary professionals and leaders who will advance and optimize quality-of-life outcomes in communities worldwide. In addition to being an innovative, student centered instructor, the ideal candidate will be invested in supporting and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. UNT has a highly diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken in addition to English. We welcome candidates who have experience with HSI/MSIs and/or who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and other variations), Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or/and Yoruba. The Department of Rehabilitation & Health Services seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on aperiodic basis, depending on department teaching needs. The work assignments are associated with teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses whose duties may include 3000, 4000, and 5000-levelcourses in the following programs: Addiction Studies; Rehabilitation Studies; CACREP - Accredited Rehabilitation Counseling MS degree program.
