Adjunct Instructor - Legal Studies
About The Position
The Division of Social Sciences at Methodist University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach a variety of courses in the legal system. We are specifically looking for instructors who can teach courses such as Introduction to Law, Environmental Regulations, Legal Research and Writing, Law and the Legal System, Tort Law, and Contract Law. Part-time adjunct instructors have the opportunity to teach up to three courses per semester. Responsibilities include developing and delivering course content that aligns with course and program outcomes, grading assignments, and providing constructive feedback to students. Requirements
- A minimum of a JD and some teaching experience, OR experienced professionals (5 years or more) in the field
- Preferably at least one year of classroom teaching experience and/or online teaching experience
