Under limited supervision, the Adjunct Instructor, Practical Nursing provides instruction and supervision within the College’s Practical Nursing program. Assignments are expected to focus primarily on clinical instruction, simulation-based learning, or a combination of both. The instructor facilitates safe, effective learning experiences; evaluates student achievement of course and clinical objectives; and supports students in developing the knowledge, judgment, technical skills, and professional behaviors required for entry-level practical nursing practice. This is a part-time adjunct position with no guaranteed minimum number of hours. Individual assignments may include clinical instruction, simulation instruction, skills-laboratory instruction, or a combination of responsibilities. Hours, duration, work location, and instructional responsibilities will vary. Placement and instructional opportunities will be determined according to program needs, course and clinical schedules, enrollment, instructor qualifications and experience, clinical-agency availability, and the instructor’s availability. Applicants may be considered for immediate or future adjunct opportunities associated with the Practical Nursing cohort scheduled to begin in January 2027. Orientation, faculty development, course preparation, or clinical-agency onboarding may be required before the instructional assignment begins.
