About The Position
This adjunct faculty position is part of the teaching faculty within the Social & Behavioral Sciences Department. Teaching assignments may include courses delivered in online, in-person, hybrid, or multi-modal formats. Kilgore College is a two-year, comprehensive public community college with a campus in Kilgore and an extension center in Longview, Texas. Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher.
- A minimum of 18 graduate hours in Philosophy.
- Must live in the State of Texas.
- Submit official transcripts upon an offer of employment.
- Pass a background check.
- Submit satisfactory proof of employment authorization and identity within three (3) days of being hired.
- All positions are considered security-sensitive and subject to a background check pre-employment.

- Prior college-level teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Teaching one or more Philosophy courses.
- Delivering course content.
- Facilitating and supervising student learning.
- Evaluating student performance in accordance with departmental and institutional guidelines.
