About The Position

Adjunct Instructor of Business which includes Health Care Administration-HCA, Human Resource Management-HRM, Finance, Accounting, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, and Entrepreneurship and reports to the Dean of Business Division. This position is responsible for teaching courses in the Health Care Administration-HCA, Human Resources Management-HRM, Finance, Accounting, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship majors, which provides a substantial business emphasis.

Requirements

Masters of Science in Health Care Administration-HCA, Human Resources Management-HRM, Finance, Accounting, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship or a related area.
College teaching experience in relevant curriculum.
A successful professional record in business settings.
Strong knowledge of current practices in the field.

Responsibilities

Teach assigned courses, focusing primarily in the Health Care Administration-HCA, Human Resources Management-HRM, Finance, Accounting, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship majors.
Articulate and model current best practices in teaching.
Advise and mentor students.
Work collegially with faculty, staff, and students.
Engage in scholarly activity in the relevant field.
Collaborate with articulated programs.
Participate in ongoing program development and evaluation.
Understand and promote the mission, values, and core themes of Warner Pacific University.
Exhibit excellent communication skills in all interactions with faculty, staff, and students.
Support and contribute to the implementation of the strategic plan of the college.
Continue professional growth, including participation in the professional development opportunities provided by the institution.
