Requirements
- Master’s degree with 18 semester hours in English. A master’s degree and / or graduate hours in teaching or education does not meet SACSCOC accreditation requirements.
- Strong communication skills and work ethic.
- Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
- Experience with online teaching platforms; Blackboard preferred.
Responsibilities
- Willingness to teach at all Athens Technical College locations.
- Willingness to teach Athens Technical College courses on area high school and career academy campuses.
- Willingness to teach using all college approved methods (Ex. face-to-face, online, audio / video, etc.).
