The Division of Online and Distance Education at Husson University invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty pool. This posting will remain open for a 90-day period to establish a pool of qualified candidates who may be considered for future online teaching or course development opportunities. Applications are reviewed as instructional and course development needs arise during the posting period. After the posting closes, applications may continue to be reviewed from the established pool based on departmental needs. Teaching and course development assignments are dependent upon factors such as student enrollment, program needs, course scheduling, and institutional priorities.

Requirements

• An earned terminal degree in the discipline or a related field (doctoral degree preferred)
• Effective communication skills to convey subject matter clearly
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to providing innovative and engaging online education

• Up to $933.33 per credit hour for Master's Prepared Undergraduate Courses
• Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour for Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared Undergraduate Courses
• Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour for Master's Prepared Graduate Courses
• Up to $1,100.00 per credit hour for Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared Graduate Courses
• $1,150.00 per credit hour for Master's Prepared Lab Sections (Undergraduate)
• $1,250.00 per credit hour for Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared Lab Sections (Undergraduate)
• Proposal or development fees ranging from $500.00 to $3,000.00 for Online Course Development
