About The Position
Adjunct Instructor positions are part-time, semester-to-semester, non-benefited MCCC/MTA/DCE unit positions. This posting is for a candidate pool for anticipated vacancies for the 2023-2024 school year. This position is onsite in the classroom. Applicants must be available at least two days per week and available between 8:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Teaches a standard range of courses expected in the first two years of a degree program in the field.
Requirements
- Master's degree within the field or 18 credits of graduate level work specific to the field.
- College teaching experience, high school teaching experience, or adult education experience.

- Successful community college teaching experience.

- Teaching experience with Early College students or at the High School level.
- Commitment to the mission of the community college.
- Experience building and facilitating asynchronous or hybrid courses using a standard learning management system.
Responsibilities
- Conducts classes.
- Prepares for instruction.
- Assesses student performance.
- Provides student assistance by appointment.
- Engages in professional development and required trainings.
- Attends a limited number of faculty meetings.
