The Katz School of Science and Health at Yeshiva University invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Higher Education Teaching: Principles and Practice, a graduate-level course designed to prepare STEM PhD students for successful teaching careers in higher education. The course focuses on evidence-based teaching practices, course design, active learning, classroom management, assessment, educational technology, and professional development. Students develop the practical teaching skills and instructional materials needed to teach undergraduate and graduate STEM courses while building a professional teaching portfolio. The Adjunct Appointment will be for one 3-credit graduate course for a 15-week semester, with one 2-hour class each week, delivered through in-person instruction at the Katz School of Science and Health's Midtown Manhattan campus.
