About The Position

Wingate University is seeking applicants to fill several part-time, adjunct teaching positions in the areas of Sociology, Human Services, and Criminal Justice. These part-time positions will primarily teach in-person classes on our main campus unless otherwise specified. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and we regularly review applications to fill opportunities as they become available.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in a related discipline
• College teaching experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with learning management system (i.e. Canvas)
• Experience with content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia and other e-learning tools

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in the Sociology, Human Services, and Criminal Justice disciplines
• Regular, predictable attendance on campus (for in-person classes)
• Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap
• Other job duties/responsibilities may be assigned
