About The Position

The Health Sciences Department offers college-level Radiography courses in a face-to-face format. Adjunct instructors are responsible for instructing students, developing curricula, assessing student learning, participating in program evaluation, and maintaining College and department standards. For adjuncts serving as clinical preceptors, additional responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of program mission and goals, understanding the clinical objectives and evaluation system, evaluating students’ clinical competence, providing clinical instruction and supervision, participating in the assessment process, and monitoring and enforcing program policies and procedures.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in a qualifying field
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
Successful results of a criminal background check
Ability to use technology required for assigned course(s)
Meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations
Disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application
