About The Position
Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking adjunct faculty for its online campus within the Colangelo College of Business. This role involves teaching the 'Global Business' course, which provides a comprehensive overview of the international business landscape, focusing on global markets, supply chains, international trade, currency issues, and strategies for entering global markets. The course also emphasizes developing cultural competence and business acumen through communication tools and negotiation tactics. Adjunct faculty are expected to facilitate online discussions, adhere to grading and deadline requirements, respond to student inquiries promptly, and uphold the university's doctrinal statement, ethical position statement, and mission.
Requirements
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a minimum of 5 years international/global business experience.
Nice To Haves
- PhD/DBA Management or Doctorate in a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years international/global business experience.
- If non-business doctorate Masters in Business Administration (MBA) required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
- Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
- Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
