About The Position

University of Massachusetts Global is seeking Adjunct Faculty for its Master of Social Work (MSW) program. Successful applicants will teach didactic and field education courses within the MSW programs.

Requirements

A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program is required plus 2 year teaching experience in a university setting
Available to hold synchronous sessions or supplemental supervision for MSW students across various time zones.

Online Teaching Experience (2 year or more)
Field Seminar Instruction Experience (2 year or more)
Experience supervising students in their field practicum and working with agency supervisors (1 year or more)
Experience teaching in the following areas will be given preference: clinical social work, research methods, and field practicum

Responsibilities

Teaching duties, mentoring, or supervising students.
Delivering course content, engaging with students in discussion boards, and grading and providing detailed feedback on assignments.
Collaborating with faculty or staff within the social work department including timely response to department emails.
Utilizing specific technologies or tools (e.g., LMS, video platforms, field placement tracking software).
Attending required meetings, training, or development sessions.
If teaching field seminar, liaison with practicum agencies and supervisors on a regular basis to ensure student success in field practicum.
