About The Position

The Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Pensacola State College offers college-level Information Technology courses in various formats, including face-to-face, live online via Zoom, and asynchronous online. Adjunct instructors are responsible for instructing students, developing curricula, assessing student learning, participating in program evaluation, and maintaining College and department standards. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in field or a master’s degree and 18 graduate hours from an institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College.
  • Successful results of a criminal background check.
  • Ability to use and demonstrate the use of technology required for assigned course(s).

Responsibilities

  • Instruct students in college-level Information Technology courses.
  • Develop curricula for Information Technology courses.
