Adjunct Faculty in Digital Art and Design
About The Position
The Department of VAPA is looking for a dynamic individual who stays abreast of the latest developments in the art world and inspire non-majors to pursue a major or minor in art. The ideal candidate is collaborative and has a strong interest in developing active partnerships with local and regional artists and arts organizations. The ability to create inclusive and engaging learning environments for a diverse student body will be an important characteristic of the successful candidate. Experience working with first-generation students is desirable. The candidate hired for this position will be joining a program and department embarking upon a multi-million-dollar expansion and renovation of current fine arts facilities. Alpine and Marfa are art-friendly communities, and the candidate will find supportive colleagues and appreciative peers throughout the region. Requirements
- Candidates should submit a cover letter, CV, art portfolio, and three references, two of which must be academic.

- Experience working with first-generation students is desirable.
Responsibilities
- The teaching load includes digital media, teach undergraduate courses in digital media, including, but not limited to, 2D/3D design, animation and web design.
- Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
