About The Position

Requirements

  • Upcoming available courses for the 2026-27 academic year may include Drawing 1, Intro to Ceramics, 3D Foundations, Life Drawing, Sculpture, and Digital Fabrication.
  • Applicants with expertise in multiple areas are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Applicants should be able to demonstrate integration of traditional and digital media in their discipline.
  • 3D/Sculpture applicants must be proficient in metal fabrication, welding, foundry, casting processes, wood shop areas, as well as experience with digital fabrication (3D printing, laser cutting, CNC), mold making, material translation, and supervising/enforcing studio safety.
  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Fine Arts required.
  • At least two years of college teaching experience in one related area: Figure Drawing, 3D Foundations, Ceramics, 3D/Sculpture, or Digital Fabrication.
  • Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.

Nice To Haves

  • For 3D/Sculpture/Digital Fabrication position, Rhino or comparable 3D modeling proficiency.
  • Proven excellence in online teaching is preferred, but most classes will be in person on main our campus.
  • Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
  • Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats.
  • Student evaluation.
  • Timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
