About The Position
Colorado Mesa University is seeking applications for an Adjunct Professor of 2D Art. This position is expected to teach two in-person 3 credit hour Two-Dimensional Design classes a semester starting Fall 2026. The Two-Dimensional Design course is a 100-level course delivered to both the general campus student body and majors in the Art and Design Department.
Requirements
- MA or MFA in a studio art or other art related field.
- Or, BFA in art related field with a combined minimum of at least 10 years of experience working in an art related field.
- Experience teaching 2D art (drawing, painting, printmaking, design).
- Ability to verify U.S. employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

Benefits
- Salary: $600-$850 per credit hour. Commensurate with education and experience.
