About The Position
American University's Department of Health Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences is seeking adjunct faculty for upcoming Academic Years. This is an open continuous vacancy announcement. The rank will depend on the applicant's highest degree earned in Health Studies or a related field. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The Department offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs and is part of the College of Arts and Sciences, which focuses on scholarship in the Arts, Humanities, and Sciences.
Requirements
- Highest degree earned in Health Studies or a related field.
- Must deliver services from either the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, or perform work on-site at the university.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses within the Department of Health Studies, which may include undergraduate and graduate level programs.
