About The Position
The Department of Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences at American University invites applications for a number of adjunct faculty positions for upcoming Academic Years. Rank will depend on an applicant’s highest degree earned in Physics or a related field. The applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The Department of Physics offers undergraduate degree programs. The Department is organized under the College of Arts and Sciences, which is where scholarship in the Arts, Humanities, and Sciences is pursued.
Requirements
- Highest degree earned in Physics or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate degree programs in Physics.
- Deliver services to the university from either the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, or perform work on-site at the university.
