Adjunct Faculty – Health Care Accounting & Billing – College of Nursing Health Care Professions (Traditional - Fall 2026)
About The Position
Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate adjunct instructors to help prepare the next generation of professionals and leaders. Health Care Accounting and Billing: This course introduces learners to the fundamental principles of finance, accounting, and budgeting within the context of the health care industry. Learners examine the various business units, roles, and structures involved in health care planning, budgeting, and accounting. Financial measurements and data analytics for managing costs and productivity are also explored.
Requirements
- Master's degree in one of the following: Health Care Administration (MHCA), Health Administration (MHA), Public Administration (MPA), Business Administration (MBA), Nursing (MSN)
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in health care management, administration, or health care accounting and billing within one or more of the following settings: Hospital or acute care, Managed care, Ambulatory care or physician group practice, Long-term care
- Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above
- Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
