About The Position

NHTI is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach a humanities elective INDL 115C: Exploration Pathways: Connecting Culture and Career for the Fall 2026 semester. This course is primarily for General Studies majors interested in exploring health career majors at NHTI, focusing on practical applications and real-world relevance. The course introduces students to the diverse health and medical sciences offered at NHTI, foundations of college success, and the academic environment. Students will explore healthcare professional roles, required skills, and educational pathways, with an emphasis on health career discovery, cultural competency, communication, and teamwork in medical environments.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Reside in NH, VT, ME, MA, RI, or CT.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior teaching experience
  • Familiarity with Canvas (or similar LMS)

Responsibilities

  • Teach the assigned course using provided curriculum and instructional materials aligned with program standards.
  • Facilitate class discussions, assignments, and assessments to foster student engagement and learning.
  • Provide regular feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Maintain professional currency in the field and comply with college policies and standards.
