About The Position
This position will teach courses in our Health Professions Division. Adjunct instructors at Southeastern Community College provide educational services as assigned, in accordance with general college guidelines, board policies, and administrative guidelines.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in a qualifying field or a Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours in a qualifying field; or
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of instruction with either 5 years teaching experience or 4000 hours related work experience; or
- 6000 hours related work experience.
- Applicants must possess the appropriate registration, certification, or licenses for the occupational area in which the instructor is teaching.
Nice To Haves
- Flexibility to instruct classes during day, evening, and/or weekend hours, and for campuses in West Burlington and Keokuk.
- Online courses may also be available.
Responsibilities
- Instruct courses in our Health Professions Division.
Benefits
- Assignments are compensated at the rate of $700 per credit hour or $40 per contact hour.
