About The Position
St. Norbert College is accepting applications for instructors qualified to teach ENGL 150 Literature and Writing and College Writing. This is a continuing applicant pool, and instructors will be contacted as staffing needs arise or to fill last-minute voids. The college seeks individuals who can contribute to its mission of fostering intellectual, spiritual, and personal development within a unique Catholic, Norbertine, and Liberal Arts educational environment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or higher) in English, rhetoric, composition, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience teaching first-year writing.
- At least five years of professional experience in the field with demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years).
- Submit a current curriculum vitae.
- Submit an introductory cover letter.
- Submit evidence of teaching effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Teach ENGL 150 Literature and Writing.
- Teach College Writing.
- Fill a last-minute void in teaching assignments when needed.
