About The Position

This course is an exegetical study of the initial books of the New Testament, emphasizing the application of hermeneutical principles, interpretation of selected passages, textual issues, and major theological themes.

Nice To Haves

Master's in divinity (preferred) or Master's in Theology or Master's in Christian Studies with at least 12 graduate credits in New Testament history and literature from an accredited college or university
At least 2 or more years professional experience in the pastorate or teaching The Gospels and Acts at the postsecondary level

Responsibilities

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
