About The Position
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Rowan University is seeking applications for multiple Adjunct Faculty positions. The successful candidates will be committed to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level and will teach courses in various areas of mechanical engineering. The department is home to approximately 350 undergraduates, 75 MS/PhD students, 15 faculty members, and 4 staff members. The ME undergraduate program is recognized for its multidisciplinary "Engineering Clinics." The department aims to strengthen its graduate research and teaching while maintaining undergraduate program excellence.
Requirements
- MS degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Teach courses in various areas of mechanical engineering, including Statics, Dynamics, Strength of Materials, Machine Design, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Dynamic Systems & Control, and Mechatronics.
Benefits
- Minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught.
- Maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year.
