About The Position

Texas A&M University-San Antonio is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach college-level Communication courses for Spring 2027. Courses may include Fundamentals of Public Speaking and other Communication electives. Classes may be taught face-to-face or online. A full-time teaching load of four or five sections may be available, but is not guaranteed and depends on course availability and departmental needs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in communication or a closely related discipline.
• Prior teaching experience in a university setting.
• Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff.
• Ability to respond promptly to queries from students, faculty, and staff.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.

Responsibilities
