About The Position

The Law and Justice Studies Department at Rowan University is looking for adjunct professors to teach undergraduate and graduate level classes in criminal justice.

Requirements

  • M.A. in criminal justice, or closely related field is required.
  • A J.D. is acceptable.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • The University will not sponsor a visa for this position.

  • Teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate level classes in criminal justice.

Benefits

  • Minimum of $2,225 (after 9/1/2026) per credit for all courses taught.
  • Maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year.
  • Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
