About The Position

The Department of Experiential Engineering Education (ExEEd) at Rowan University is seeking adjunct faculty with a strong interest and qualified expertise in teaching introductory engineering and engineering design courses. The anticipated needs in the upcoming semesters are the First-Year and Sophomore Engineering Clinics. These are hands-on, multidisciplinary engineering courses taught in a team-based, project-oriented environment. ExEEd's strengths include small class sizes, strong student-faculty interactions, and a collaborative and supportive working and learning environment. Requirements

  • Earned at least a Master of Science degree in an engineering discipline or closely related field.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching introductory engineering and engineering design courses, specifically the First-Year and Sophomore Engineering Clinics.

Benefits

  • Minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught.
  • Maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year.
