About The Position

Midland University, a private, faith-based liberal-arts college in Fremont, Nebraska, is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach within the Walker School of Education. The role involves preparing and delivering in-person and remote class activities, developing engaging instructional materials and assessments, providing timely feedback on written assignments, responding to student inquiries within 24 hours, and meeting individually with students as needed. Courses are offered in 16-week terms during fall and spring and in 5- or 10-week terms during summer. Hiring is cyclical and ongoing, depending on program growth and the course schedule. The position remains open until filled.

Requirements

Hold a graduate or professional degree from a college or university accredited by an accrediting organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Have at least 3 years of experience teaching in a K–12 setting.
Have preparation, research, and experience relevant to the field in which they teach.
Hold or have held appropriate certification for the area or level being taught.
