About The Position
The Department of Art at Rowan University is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses in various art disciplines including Studio Art, Drawing, Painting, 2 and 3-d Design, Graphic Design and Digital Media, Ceramics, Sculpture, Jewelry/Metals, and Art History. The position is based on the main campus in Glassboro, New Jersey. All positions are contingent upon budget appropriations. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States, and the University will not sponsor a visa for this position.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Relevant professional or academic experience
- Eligible to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Track record of successful teaching is desirable
- 2 previous teaching evaluations, if available
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Studio Art, Drawing, Painting, 2 and 3-d Design, Graphic Design and Digital Media, Ceramics, Sculpture, Jewelry/Metals, and Art History.
Benefits
- Minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught
- Maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year
