For Fall 2026, NECC is seeking an adjunct instructor for General Chemistry I (CHM 121), to be delivered in-person on the Lawrence campus. The lecture meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 am to 9:15 am, with lab on Tuesdays from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Additionally, NECC is building a pool of Adjunct Faculty to teach various Chemistry courses on an as-needed basis for Fall 2026 and beyond. Successful applicants will teach General Chemistry (I or II) courses, primarily in day and evening face-to-face formats, potentially including Early College classes. Future opportunities for online or hybrid instruction may arise, requiring mandatory training. Adjunct faculty play a critical role in teaching and learning, contributing to student success.
