Community College System of New Hampshire•Nashua, NH
•Onsite

About The Position

Nashua Community College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach American Sign Language courses on a course-by-course basis for a specified contract period. Instructors are needed for Sign Language I and Sign Language II. Classes are in person and scheduled in the afternoons and/or evenings. The salary range is $850–$1,000 per contact hour. The rate is determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience. Applicants must reside within a New England state: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island. Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of the required background check. Applicants should apply online and submit a cover letter, resume or Curriculum Vitae, statement of teaching philosophy, and official or unofficial transcripts. The cover letter should list courses previously taught, if applicable, and courses the applicant is qualified to teach. Resumes are reviewed on an ongoing basis until needs are met and may be kept on file for future openings. A resume does not replace a completed employment application, and Employment History Sections stating “see resume” will not be accepted.
