Nashua Community College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors for its English Program to teach on a course-by-course basis. The current need is for ENGL101 College Composition, an in-person class. Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period, and may involve classroom or online instruction. A strong academic background is required. Applicants must be eligible to work within CCSNH, which requires residency in a New England state: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island. Applications must be submitted online with a cover letter, resume or curriculum vitae, teaching philosophy statement, and official or unofficial transcripts. The cover letter should list courses previously taught, if applicable, and courses the applicant is qualified to teach. Resumes do not replace a completed employment application, and employment history sections stating “see resume” will not be accepted. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis until needs are met and may be retained for future openings. Employment offers are contingent on successfully completing the required background check.
