About The Position
The Center for Women's Health at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a per diem primary care physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to provide primary care at OHSU's Center for Women's Health. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of an innovative team providing a full spectrum of care across multiple disciplines. With services like acupuncture, naturopathic care, mental health, physical therapy, midwifery, obstetrics, gynecology (and related subspecialties), and primary care, the Center for Women's Health has an innovative and collaborative approach to providing care for women from throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O.
- Demonstrated competence in research, teaching, patient care or administration or combinations of these activities
- A potential for academic accomplishment
- Board certification or eligibility for specialty board certification, in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provides an outstanding level of clinical performance in a manner that is compliant with appropriate regulations and guidelines (the American Board of Internal or Family Medicine, TJC, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, and all other state, federal, and institutional regulatory guidelines).
- May teach trainees and support staff through assigned lectures and by modeling best practices, mentoring trainees, and guiding learning through delegating graduated and focused levels of responsibility.
