About The Position

The Adjunct Assistant Professor provides instruction in pre-clinical courses and predoctoral clinics, as defined by the Department Chair in consultation with the Predoctoral and Graduate Program Directors. This part-time position is anticipated to work approximately one and one-half (1.5) days per week (0.3 FTE).

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in educating dental students in pre-clinical and/or clinical settings, or minimum of five years of experience in private general practice, or completion of an advanced dental education program.
• Excellent clinical credentials.
• Excellent supervisory, organizational, mentoring, customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong background in all aspects of general dentistry, including provision of care to individuals with special needs.
• Experience in organizational and interpersonal skills and leadership.
