About The Position
Johnson County Community College is looking for an Adjunct Assistant Professor, Journalism to teach their survey course, JOUR 120 Mass Media and Society. This opportunity would be for both in-person and online teaching.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, or discipline related to field.
- OR Bachelor's degree with at least six years of journalism or mass media industry experience.
- Application, resume, cover letter, and unofficial transcripts are required.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Journalism is preferred.
- Some college teaching experience is preferred.
- Experience using Canvas for teaching online is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach JOUR 120 Mass Media and Society.
- Teach both in-person and online.
