About The Position

JCCC is looking for applicants for a part-time faculty position in the Engineering Department. The ideal candidate would be expected to instruct students in the Engineering Orientation classes. The intent of this course is to introduce students to the engineering industry and the engineering problem-solving process, and to help each student make the best career decision. The ideal candidate would need to be able to teach in person one day a week (Monday) in the morning and afternoon starting in Spring 2027. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering or 18 hours of graduate level coursework in Engineering.
  • Three years of engineering work experience required.
  • Computer literacy including ability to communicate and develop teaching materials and enter grades electronically.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the use of appropriate computer software.
  • Demonstrate fluency in written and oral communications.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of college-level teaching experience in the Engineering field.
