About The Position

Recovery Works NW is a family-owned community organization addressing a medical and social epidemic. We focus on innovative, judgement-free, and compassionate solutions for substance use and mental health-related distress. We value an interdisciplinary approach to treatment, building therapeutic alliances with our patients, incorporating voices of persons with lived-experience, and fostering collaboration with community partners including organizations serving community-specific needs. This is an in-person position at our Newberg Office with an expansive Sublocade Program (in addition to all other forms of MAT). Support staff including front/back office, dedicated medical assistants, recovery peers, as well as a full behavioral health department are available. Will have internal access to full continuum of care including referral to our detox clinic. We offer a positive and collaborative work environment with individualized patient care with emphasis on harm-reduction.

Requirements

• Active state license with prescriptive privileges.
• Experience in Addiction Medicine/MAT.
• 1 year of experience prescribing buprenorphine.
• Must pass an OHA Background check.
• Must successfully complete a urine analysis (UA) after accepting job offer.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience with Sublocade injection.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services related to addiction medicine and MAT.
• Administer Sublocade injections.
• Prescribe buprenorphine.
• Provide individualized patient care with an emphasis on harm-reduction.
• Collaborate with support staff, including front/back office, medical assistants, recovery peers, and the behavioral health department.
• Refer patients to the full continuum of care, including detox services.
