The Department of Economic Security, Office of the Director, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to join our team as a Civil Rights Compliance Officer 3. This position will serve as an ADA Title II and Language Access Coordinator. It focuses heavily on performing all aspects of compliance with ADA Title II and having a strong understanding of current laws and regulations related to disability discrimination. It will coordinate and monitor efforts to fulfill the agency's compliance related to Public accommodations under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and ensure language access requirements are met under the agency's Language Access program. This position focuses on administering or coordinating compliance with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act, including but not limited to managing requests for accommodations for individuals with disabilities. This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona, based upon the department's needs and continual meetings of expected performance measures.
