About The Position
Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois, is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its inpatient care team. Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree in nursing with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification (ACNP-BC or ACNPC-AG).
- Active Illinois RN and APRN licenses, or ability to obtain them.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- At least one year of experience in acute inpatient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Perform advanced procedures, including central line placement and endotracheal intubation, as well as other procedures based on credentialing.
- Manage admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety, and clinical best practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams.
