Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification (ACNP-BC or ACNPC-AG).
• Active Illinois RN and APRN licenses, or ability to obtain them.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least one year of acute inpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Perform advanced procedures, including central line placement and endotracheal intubation, as well as additional procedures based on credentialing.
• Manage admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and clinical best practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams.
