Requirements

• Enrolled at the University level and pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics, with a major in Actuarial Science
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge and understanding of actuarial concepts at a level commensurate with applicant's educational experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

• Experience using GGY AXIS and/or Prophet
• Experience with SQL language (Microsoft Access, MySQL, DBeaver, ect.)
• Programming experience in either Python or R
• Passed at least one or two SOA exam

Responsibilities

• Preparation of calculation, report and analysis for day-to-day inforce collateral monitoring
• Process automation and documentation enhancement Structured Finance processes using Excel, Python, and SQL
• Access Bloomberg to extract asset data and update reports on RGA collateral held/pledged assets
• Support the broader Structured Finance team with ad-hoc projects related to risk assessment or financial reporting
