About The Position

This position plays a critical role in corporate structured financing activities including development and execution of efficient capital and liquidity solutions. This role is responsible for managing corporate funding facilities and hedging transactions. In addition, this role manages company-wide capital injections and repatriation and participates in the oversight of corporate surplus assets. This role requires the knowledge of complex financing structures and the ability to assess capital and liquidity impact of corporate transactions.

Requirements

Extensive experience (10 years +) with capital and liquidity management and financial analysis, ideally in a large, public financial Institution with businesses in multiple jurisdictions
MBA and/or CA, CFA or enrolment in the CFA program an asset
Good understanding of capital markets, structured products and securitization designs
Working knowledge of IFRS financial statements and accounting principles
Good understanding of key drivers and inter-dependencies of insurance and wealth management businesses
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with capability of developing and implementing complex financial structures and models
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management at all levels of the organization
Ability to develop initiatives, make sound business judgements and identify value adding opportunities
Good organizational skills and ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
Requiring advanced business degree and/or accounting designation
