This position is responsible for participating in implementation, maintenance and basic analysis of models, studies and systems which use actuarial principles for the purposes of pricing, underwriting, statistics, reserving, forecasting and other actuarial functions; running, building and analyzing results of basic models; developing oral and written presentation skills; and learning basic business and actuarial concepts. New graduate Actuarial Analysts will participate in the Actuarial Student Program for role-specific technical and professional development. They will also participate in HCSC’s six-month Enterprise New Grad Program, which provides broader business exposure and supports the transition from college to the workplace. Formal New Employee Orientation to build business and industry acumen, Professional development sessions focused on workplace readiness, communication, relationship building and career growth, Exposure to HCSC business areas, leaders and career paths, Networking and shared learning with new graduate peers across the enterprise, Approximately four hours of virtual programming each month during the six-month program.
