About The Position

The Activity Director develops and implements therapeutic recreation programs tailored to residents’ needs and facilitates individual and group activities for residents across varied functional levels. The role supports residents’ spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, social, and physical well-being in individual and group settings. The Activity Director completes assessments, care plans, progress notes, and MDS documentation; coordinates special events, community outings, and volunteer involvement; and ensures compliance with state, federal, and company regulations. The position collaborates with interdisciplinary team members and families. The role is based at Fairview Nursing & Rehabilitation Community in Centreville, Michigan. Requirements

CTRS, MMT, or AT credential.
RAC certification and good standing, required if the candidate does not have a CTRS, MMT, or AT credential.
At least 1 year of experience in an Activities Department within a healthcare setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Positive, dependable, and team-oriented mindset.
Excellent attendance and reliability.
