About The Position

The Activity Director develops and implements therapeutic recreation programs tailored to residents’ needs and facilitates individual and group activities across varied functional levels. The role supports residents’ spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, and social needs in both group and individual settings. It also includes completing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and MDS documentation; coordinating special events, community outings, and volunteer involvement; ensuring compliance with state, federal, and company regulations; and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members and families.

Requirements

• CTRS, MMT, or AT credential.
• RAC certification and good standing if not CTRS, MMT, or AT.
• At least 1 year of experience in an Activities Department within a healthcare setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
